Are You Hurting?

Jacquie Castle We can find ourselves in a very troubled state of mind, and feel very off balance, this can occur at any time during our lives.

We may have lost a loved one, may have lost our energy and the focus of our dreams.

We may have no idea what causes our problems , we may feel in a very emotional state and have a lot of turmoil and uneasiness around us. This may have stopped us from doing things we have always wanted to do.

We may know why we feel like this , though have ignored our feelings hoping they would go away!

Any of the following problems can be explored in a safe and confidential way:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety, Phobias
  • Relationship problems
  • Relationship breakdowns
  • Low self esteem
  • Grief
  • Careers related problems
  • Young adults
  • Addictions
  • Dyslexia
  • Sexuality
  • Changes
  • Work related stress
  • Miscellaneous life challenges

The road travelled is better when it is shared.

A person centred approach is between client and therapist to work together in a safe and confidential environment, to enable the client to discover their own choices and answers thus creating the healing in their own life.

Anything you need to bring - it's your choice maybe these are some of the questions you ask yourself:

Why Do I feel like I do?

How can I change my behaviour?

How can I make my life better?

Is there a solution to my problems?

How do I find the right person for me to talk to?

I work within a humanistic, person centred framework, which includes different methods including, Gestalt, Jung, Pearls, Freudian and Carl Rogers. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client is to work together in a confidential and safe way to create transformation within the relationship of counselling and Psychotherapy.

On Human Development

"Whether one calls it a growth tendency, a drive toward self-actualisation or forward moving directional tendency, it is the main spring of life, and is, in the last analysis, the tendency upon which all psychotherapy is based."

Carl Rogers "On Becoming a Person".
  1. sociability: the need to be with other human beings and a desire to know and be known by other people
  2. being trusting and trustworthy
  3. being curious about the world, and open to experience
  4. being creative and compassionate

I work to the UKAHPP principles and guidelines within my ethical framework.

I also bring and include in my work my own self development which started at the age of 34 yrs and this has been ongoing. Since then my life has been about coming to further understanding and wanting to know more about myself, the world and others around me. This has been a journey of great depth and is my passion as well as my career.

Why not start today with your new life? Enjoy it with clear vision, joy and share your happiness and fun with all loved ones around you!
