Top 25 Of 2004
#25-#21
Songs 25 through 21 did consistently well on the chart.  Spending anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks on the chart, the key for these songs to make the top 25 was just hovering around the same spots for a few weeks.  They are quality songs, many of which missed out on the #1 spot by just a little bit.
#25: Everything About You-Sanctus Real

Sanctus Real returned with their second album this year, Fight The Tide.  The lead single, Everything About You, comes in at #25 for the year.  This one is a solid effort from Sanctus Real, and it showed on the chart.  Debuting the week of May 27, Everything About you spent 7 weeks on the chart, peaking at #3.  This would be enough for #25 on the year.
#24: She Thinks She Needs Me-Andy Griggs

Andy Griggs had a huge hit with this song on the country charts.  On my charts, it also surged late in its time on radio.  Debuting the week of September 8, She Thinks She Needs surged quickly to a peak of #2 after just 3 weeks on the chart.  The song spent just 6 weeks total on the chart, but with the song at #6 or above for five of those weeks, it became one of this year's biggest hits on the chart.
#23: Never Alone-BarlowGirl

BarlowGirl stormed into the Christian music scene this year.  This song spent many weeks at #1 on the radio charts and is likely to hit #1 or the top 5 on nearly every Christian chart.  On my chart it lands at Number 23.  Debuting the week of September 8, it spent seven weeks on the chart and peaked at #2.  It likely would've ended up higher, but not hearing it until late in it's time on radio hampered its chances on my chart.  Nonetheless, it lands in the Top 25 for the year.
#22: Suds In The Bucket-Sara Evans

Sara can straight up sing.  This song is truly just a fun song, and she made it into an awesome song.  It debuted the week of June 30 and spent 10 weeks on the chart.  It peaked only at #6, but consistency was key, and those 10 weeks on the chart made for a big difference and are the reason that Sara comes in at #22 with a truly great song.
#21: Numb-Linkin Park

Numb was the first Number 1 on the chart...ever.  That's definitely worth something.  A solid song from a solid group, Numb took home for the first four weeks of the chart's existence (only to be beat out by another Numb that shows up later in the Top 25).  It spent a total of nine weeks on the chart and ends up at #21 for the year.
