| #20-#16 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Songs 20 through 16 found various ways of making the Top 25. Two of the songs quickly pushed every other song out of their in their quests to reach the top spot. The other three just continued making their appearances on the chart, for anywhere from 7 to 10 weeks. Two of the songs are still doing quite well...both are currently in the Top 3 of each week's chart. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| #20: How Am I Doin'-Dierks Bentley Dierks got hurt. So he decided to write a song about it. Except...he was actually glad that the relationship was over. What does that mean? Well, that means that he wrote a great "I'm so over you" song that lands at #20 in this year's Top 25. How Am I Doin' debuted on the countdown the week of September 1 and spent a total of seven weeks on the chart, peaking at #3. This one's a great song that is just now getting the radio play it deserves, but it got its due respect on this chart. |

| #19: Disappear-Hoobastank Hoobastank's first appearance on this year's Top 25 is a great one that will likely show up on next year's Top 25 as well. Disappear first hit the charts all the way back in late April. After spending three weeks on the chart it...well, disappeared. However, it reappeared when it was released as a single, reentering the chart during the week of October 27. It has spent nine weeks on the chart thus far, currently peaking at #2, though it could fight its way to the top spot. A great song that will probably show up next year too. |

| #18: We Don't Play-Grits featuring Manchild Two discs in one year. That's a great thing to have from a group the caliber of Grits. There were many great tracks from these guys this year, but this one has been the standout on this chart. We Don't Play, featuring Manchild of Mars Ill, debuted the week of October 27 and has not left the chart since. In fact, it has dominated the chart, taking over the #1 spot in just three weeks. It's currently in the midst of its fourth consecutive week at #1, and this streak was more than enough to get Grits into this year's Top 25. |

| #17: Beautiful Day-Sanctus Real Sanctus Real appears for the second time in the Top 25, this time with a cover song. From "In The Name Of Love", a tribute album to U2, Sanctus Real covered Beautiful Day and did a great job with it. The song peaked at #2 and spent a total of 10 weeks on the chart. Sanctus Real truly took this song and made it their own while allowing the brilliance of U2 to shine through as well. |

#16: She Will Be Loved-Maroon 5 This song debuted on the chart the week of August 4 and quickly moved its way to #1 after just four weeks. It would spend three weeks in the top spot and a total of nine weeks on the chart. Radio overplay killed this song toward the end of its run, but did consistently well throughout its nine weeks, and it was enough to get it in at #16 for the year. |
