How Can That Be True?
Hello and welcome to How can that be true?  a Christian apologetics web site.
I am a graduate from Grace College and Seminary in Winona Lake, IN with a B.A. in Biblical studies, a DPTH in Theology, and a M.A. Ministry, and I am presently working on a doctorate in Apologetics from Calvin School of Theology and Apologetics. I have been studying Apologetics for the past several years before deciding to go after my doctorate in that discipline. I dont have all the answers but, I do have some and like others, am hopefully growing in my knowledge of the subjects dealt with on this site.

The purpose of this site is two fold; First, to try and honestly give legitimate responses to those who really want to know if there are genuine answers to questions many people ask about the Christian faith. Is there a God? How can Jesus be both God and man? Why is there suffering in the world if God is all powerful? and others. Secondly, I also want to give Christians with a desire to defend the Christian faith, some tools to help them better understand more of the meat of the word instead of always living on milk like babes as so many so called believers do today. In fact, apologetics is required of all Christians as scripture points out:

1. It is commanded by the Lord Jesus Matthew 22::37.

2. We are commanded to be ready to give a defense of the Faith 1 Peter 3:15.

3. The apostle Paul says we are to be tearing down every pretension against the knowledge of God 2 Corinthians 10:5.

4. Jude in his small book v:3 calls us to earnestly contend for the faith.

My prayer is that as this site develops over the next few months, it will help accomplish all of the afore mentioned and more for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom.
