PAGE 8: BROWSER SKINS

PUT SOME COLOUR INTO YOUR BROWSING

Okay, here's a bit of fun, if you feel up to some easy web browsing and would like to see
a bit of colour on your browser top.

At present, your Internet Explorer window surround and all your buttons will be in the good old windows colours - possibly drab grey or boring blue. Hey, if you like that, fine... after all, this is an essentially functional piece of software, and colouring it up will not increase its efficiency any.

However, a relatively new concept in computing is the practice of applying "skins" to application windows. These are already available for Windows 95 and 98, Winamp sound player, as well as various other applications. They are now available for Microsoft Internet Explorer, and make your web browsing just that little bit nicer.

It's so easy to experience the wonderful world of "skinned browsing". You simply visit the Hotbar web site, select the skin you like best by clicking on it, and in approximately 20 seconds your browser window will be a splash of colour. To see the full selection of skin images, click on the image below to visit hotbar.com, the home of browser skins. We'll see you back here when you've made your selection.
