You are now viewing a WEB PAGE in your BROWSER.
This is a web page. The browser is the programme you are using to "surf the web".
In most cases this will either be Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
You can scroll up or down within this window by using the UP and DOWN arrow keys on your keyboard.
On most web pages you will find HYPERTEXT LINKS. By CLICKING HERE you will be automatically transported to another web page.
For the purposes of this tutorial, it is assumed that the reader has been newly introduced to the internet, and that their mail and browsing software will be recent examples of the two main alternative products: Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator/Navigator.
Some text may be a different colour and may also be underlined - this indicates a hypertext link.
When you run your cursor over a hypertext link it will change into a little hand icon.
Come through and learn a bit more about the internet.
If, however, you feel that your software is outdated or incomparable, you may use my interactive help desk (bottom of this page) for advice. This is a FREE service, though it is limited to the time that I spend on line. If I am off line, please feel free to leave a message and I will endeavour to reply promptly.
