"...you are that joy from deep inside,
that most precious reason why yet--Still, I RISE"
"I ask the Father in his great glory to give you the power to be strong inwardly through his Spirit. I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love."
                                                         ---Ephesians 3:16-17
I really just want to thank GOD for you. I hope you know that you are a beautiful and unique creation of the one and only GOD. You were HIS idea....HE thought of you. Not only that, you are so precious in his righteous sight that he sent his ONE and ONLY son to face unfathomable hatred and die a horrible death for you. This means He had a very special and divine reason for creating you.

Please don't take what you are or have been given for granted because nothing in this world lasts forever and you can`t take any of it with you when you pass (nor can you make up for missed opportunities). Make the MOST of your life by creating good in your own original way and serving God (thus perpetuating the love that was so graciously and unconditionally shown us).
Reserve your right to Rejoice.

We are all frail and our lives fleeting.  Make yours MEAN something.
I wish I could shout it from the rooftops!
I want scream it in the hills!
How true and glorious the Lord my God is
for bless'd are those who do his will!

Epiphanic Moment...
college = kindergarten
let us reason together,
saith the LORD:
Though your sins
A few reasons why I now say
college is comparable to kindergarten...
be as scarlet
they shall be
1.  You STILL don't have any money...and shoot, with the amounts of allowance some of these little kids are gettin' now-a-days, they *might actually* have more than you!

2.   I used to look both ways before I crossed the street,  now I just go.  If they hit me, that's one less final.

3.  I haven't taken naps since I was in third grade.  Now, that's the only time I get to sleep...

4.   Although I rarely watch TV, when I do, the only TV I seem to watch now consists of cartoons.   Once, I could sit down and relax through some 20/20 or news in general but, since I'm getting more than my fill of reality,  I just settle for "DragonBall-Z."

5.   Just like those nap breaks in kindergarten, I eat the same things too.   My *new* diet is composed of foods comparable to "warm milk and stale graham crackers."

6.   I haven't called my mother "Mommy" in I-don't-know how many years but now, you'd think it was her first name

7.   Grammatical decomposition.  Not only have I lost thee abbihlitee too spehll but, I kant rite oar speek prropurlee anee mor.  Once, I was able to articulate in honors English courses...now...I'm using phrases similar to (in complexity)  "me tired. me want sleep now. me want food...me broke, sad now. mommy, me need cash now.  men stink, me want boyfriend...me need food...(etc.). white as snow;
though they be
red like crimson,
they shall be
as wool"
Isaiah 1:18
a song of joy is on my lips
the dance of praise swings in my hips
for LOVE laid down it's very life
the son, the savior Jesus Christ!
My life has a superb cast, I just can't figure out the plot...
Sometimes, I just sit and meditate on the love and saving grace of God... it pains my heart to know that most of us take it for granted. And I know it hurts God too...

Many people seem all too eager to brag about God/Christ being the center of their life or to show off that little crucifix hangin' around their neck.

However, it's all too easy to find that
same person doing things that make you wonder if they even BELIEVE in God.

They forget all too easily what that crucifix really means.  God's one and only son, Christ Jesus, stretched his arms out on that very shape and gave his life that we (who aren't deserving) might escape punishment for our sins.

Where are the people who aren't ashamed to represent Christ.  Where are the brothers and sisters who will stand proudly and bring honor to his name instead of scorn and ridicule?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there today who will go on and on about how "real"  they are but, when it comes down to it, their faith is composed of nothing more than a pricey necklace or a car decal.
Father

Grant me the Serenity to accept
the things I cannot change,

Courage to change the things I can,

and Wisdom to know the difference.
Amen
