About me
I suppose I should start with hello. "Hello, everyone~!!" Although I��ve been part of this class, it��s quite possible we haven��t talked each other. My name is Ji-In. The surname is Kim, and I'm told that it means "Knowing humanity". I'm a senior and I majoring in Statistics. It's very attractive but formidable subject to study. It sometimes makes me dizzy cause it mainly deals with complex numbers and formulas. However, I slowly appreciate the nice points. ^^* I was born in Seoul, Korea and have since lived in a lovely town called Jamwon-dong. I'm a nice Christian ("trying to be") girl(?) who watches "MBC Surprises" to relax. Politically, I'm a pretty moderate Democrat. I'm pretty wildly liberal on social issues, and mostly moderate on economics. Because until now, my observation leads me to conclude that, on average, the world is better when Democrats are in charge. 
I always love a good joke. It makes me alive! I wish to meet a man with good sense of humor someday. When I was little I liked to sleep whenever I felt sleepy. These pictures show you how I enjoyed my sleeping. And what makes me laugh is not my attitude toward the dinner table or me in the another picture. But It's other people in the pictures. My cousin, who is sitting the other side is mocking at me, and why the woman behind me is combing her hair while I am sleeping? She seems that she is the main of the picture! It's very interesting for me to see those pictures agian. Until now, when I'm stressed, I sleep and it really helps me! 
I love anything beautiful. Maybe an esthete? When I was a high school student, I wanted to study about the fine arts, but luckily I was very promising student at that time. So my mother dissuaded me from doing that. As we all know about our Korean society, it was not a proper thing to do for good student. She said I can study arts as my hobby. Still I fell something wanting, but I believe my mother's advice was the best choice.Anyway I am doing another form of art trough Math and Statiscics. And actually nobody could stop me from loving of beauty. I joined an art club called "Grimtop". In there, I can share my inspirations with others. It really makes my life joyful. We have an exhibition every semester. So please, come and see my works! The picture on the top-right is my first work painted in oils. And the bottom-left is the view of the Posco building at Ewha. 
This picture was taken in 2002 in the prime of World Cup. I was a freshman and I could make many friends through the World Cup. It is the most memorable memory in my university life and I really cherish the experience. I am alway opened to talk with you if you want.
