The GHR Consortium

The GHR consortium's areas of expertise and interests are mainly focused on the following domains (other aspects are often handled during our missions, but these are our core competencies):

 Enterprise strategy

 Information systems

 Communication and Management

We are involved in our every day business in all of these areas, by doing consultancy, service, training and expertise in one or usually in all of these domains. An example of a typical mission we perform is: Help formulate corporate strategy, implement and support it via information technology, manage and communicate the change.

Our goal via this web site is to create a useful and easily available knowledge base concerning these areas, and give access to some of the less known techniques we use during our missions. To do so we use the so called KCard format (which is presented below). In fact much of the material contained in these KCards was extracted/inspired from our already existing training material which we've been using efficiently since a long time now (both for internal and external training).

For any further information on our services or products, feel free to contact Harvey ROWSON at [email protected] who will be pleased to reply to any questions.

The KCard Concept

A KCard is a simple written medium which we thought would be good for our purpose of publishing and sharing knowledge and expertise.

We decided on a few criteria which seemed important. We wanted:

The format to be easy and handy to read

 To stay synthetic

 To be objective

To publish freely on a number of different subjects

 To update the information regularly

KCards simply reply to these constraints, they are basically our preferred support for publishing (we have previously tested publishing in other ways, but we weren't fully satisfied, for example white papers, blogs, books, e-books, ...).

The KCard Repository

The available KCards are organised into categories as presented below. These mostly match GHR's expertise domains with in addition a 'core techniques' section under the communication category which presents some underlying aspects of communication (which is very important in our work). We also added an 'Open board' to publish other KCards with other ideas and concepts we find useful but may be more subjective and less focused.

We do not claim that the information in these KCards is always ground-breaking or even new (some is and some isn't). Their merit is to synthesise different views on diverse domains into a coherent set of pertinent knowledge. Also you might find that their standardised format and condensed presentation make them handy in everyday situations.

Download/View the KCards freely (for now) from the list below right now!!!

The KCards are available through the links below freely for now (this could change in the future). This list is organised by domains and is updated frequently with new contributions. You just click and the KCard will appear.

You can send any comments or questions concerning this information to Harvey ROWSON at [email protected]. We appreciate all feedback which can help us improve this material (we also appreciate simply knowing people are using them, this encourages us to continue our effort).
