DIES OF COMPLICATIONS
Mrs. Carrie Lee Hourigan, 61 years old, widow of Joe Hourigan, died Saturday at her home in the Haysville community of complications.  She had been in failing health for about a year but her last illness was only of a few days duration.

Mrs. Hourigan was a daughter of John and Elvira Purdy Rollins and was a native of this county.  She had spent practically all of her life in the community where she died and had many friends who learned with sorrow of her death.  She was a good Christian woman and a faithful member of the Baptist church.  She is survived by her four children, one daughter and three sons, as follows:  Mrs. John G. Hagan of this city and Dudley, Foster and Hubert Hourigan all of the county.  She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ebb Penick, Mrs. Lobe Funk and Mrs. John Bagwell, all of this county, and three brothers, Owen Rollins of Lebanon Junction, Clarence Rollins of Louisville and Howard Rollins of this city.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. T. J. Porter, were held at the Haysville Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
