       STROKES PROVES FATAL TO
             DUDLEY HOURIGAN
A stroke suffered about 8 o'clock last Thursday morning at his home on Chandler Street proved fatal to Dudley W. Hourigan, 54.  He died at 8:30 that night at Mary Immaculate Hospital, where he was taken shortly after being stricken.  Mr. Hourigan, who was a farmer and also an enployee of the Lebanon Manufacturing Company, had lived here all his life.  For several years he was employed at the George T. Stagg Distillery here.  He was born in this county October 19, 1898, a son of Joseph D. and Carrie Rollins Hourigan, both deceased.  Two brothers,
Hubert and Foster Hourigan of Lebanon, and one sister, Mrs. John Hagan of Louisville, survive.  Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. William Wolford, pastor of the Christian Church, were held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the Bosley Funeral Home.  Burial was in Haysville Cemetery.  Pallbearers were J. Walter Smith, Sr., Robert H. Harmon, J. W. Clark, Edgar Isaacs, John Keith, and R. L. Farris.
