| LEBANON ENTERPRISE 4/11/1968 FOSTER HOURIGAN, 76, RETIRED FARMER, DIES Foster G. Hourigan, 76, a retired farmer and painter, died at 10:08 am Thursday, April 4, at Mary Immaculate Hospital after several months illness. Mr. Hourigan, who sepnt most of his life in the eastern part of Marion County until retirement several years ago when he moved to town, was a native of Marion County, born March 13, 1892, a son of the late Joseph and Carrie Rollins Hourigan. He was married to Mrs. Marguerite Hays Hourigan, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert L. and Charles Hourigan, Louisville; a daughter, Mrs. L. C. Followell, Lebanon; a brother, Hubert Hourigan, Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. John Hagan, Louisville, and seven grandchildren. The body was at Bosley Funeral Home, where the funeral was conducted at 2:30 pm Saturday by the Rev. A. B. Colvin and the Rev. Herman Rowlett. Burial was in Haysville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cleaver Hourigan, Lee Wilcher, Hubert Mays, Edward Funk, Huston Eubank, and John Keith. |

| LEBANON ENTERPRISE 2/27/1969 MRS. HOURIGAN DIES AT 68 Mrs. Marguerite Hays Hourigan, 68, died at 1:20am Friday, February 21, 1969, at Mary Immaculate Hospital where she had been under treatment about a week. She had been a patient at Cedars of Lebanon Rest Home for several months. Mrs. Hourigan, a native of Marion County, born May 10, 1900, was a daughter of the late Herman and Lou Myers Hays and the widow of Foster D. Hourigan, who died in April, 1968. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and moved to Lebanon from her farm on Danville Highway several years ago. Survivors include two sons, Charles and Bobby of Louisville, a daughter, Mrs. L. C. Followerll of Lebanon and six grandchildren. The body was at Bosley Funeral Home, where the funeral was held at 2pm Sunday by the Rev. Herman Rowlett. Burial was in the Haysville Cemetery. Pall bearers were Cleaver Hourigan, John Keith, Lee Wilcher, Huston Eubank, Ed Funk and Hubert Marple. |
