| LEBANON ENTERPRISE 11/29/1912 GOOD WOMAN PASSES AWAY Mrs. Bessie Hourigan, aged 43 years, died at her home at Riley Sunday evening of dropsy. The funeral services were held Monday at Haysville church, conducted by Rev. T. J. Porter, of the Baptist church in this city, and the interment was in Beach Fork cemetery. She is survived by three daughters (Grace E., Stella Mae, Clida E.), her husband, W. R. Hourigan, preceding her to the grave several years ago. Mrs. Hourigan was a good Christian woman and was greatly beloved in the community in which she lived. For several years before her death, she taught school in the eastern end of the county and her gentle manners and winning ways endeared her to all with whom she came in contact. Many friends and acquaintances extend sympathy to the motherless children. |
