Jesus is the one and only begotten son of God. He was born, lived, and was crucified on the cross so that we could be born again. He came back to life after being dead for three days. He was then carried into Heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father. He is King of kings, and Lord of lords, the Prince of Peace, the Word made Flesh. While he was on earth he taught the people, healed them, and did many wondrous works. You can read about his life, and his words, in the Bible. Some of the miracles he preformed include: Walking on water. Healing the lame and sick. Causing the blind to see, the deaf to hear, and the mute to talk. He rose the dead from the grave, and cast devils (demons) out of possessed people. He fed thousands with just a few loaves of bread and a few fish, and made water into wine. He also did many more wondrous works. I recommend you find a copy of the King James Bible; or at least the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John from the King James Version. There are many miracles that Jesus did while he walked on earth, and they are recorded in the four Gospels. Many of the Prophets of the Old Testament prophesized that Jesus would come, and the prophesies were fulfilled in the New Testament. Old
Testament: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold,
a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call him name
Immanuel." ~ Isaiah 7:14 (Immanuel means "God with us") Old
Testament: "When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my
son out of Egypt." ~ Hosea 11:1 |
