Jesus is the one and only begotten son of God. He was born, lived, and was crucified on the cross so that we could be born again. He came back to life after being dead for three days. He was then carried into Heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father. He is King of kings, and Lord of lords, the Prince of Peace, the Word made Flesh. While he was on earth he taught the people, healed them, and did many wondrous works. You can read about his life, and his words, in the Bible.

Some of the miracles he preformed include: Walking on water. Healing the lame and sick. Causing the blind to see, the deaf to hear, and the mute to talk. He rose the dead from the grave, and cast devils (demons) out of possessed  people. He fed thousands with just a few loaves of bread and a few fish, and made water into wine. He also did many more wondrous works. I recommend you find a copy of the King James Bible; or at least the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John from the King James Version. There are many miracles that Jesus did while he walked on earth, and they are recorded in the four Gospels. Many of the Prophets of the Old Testament prophesized that Jesus would come, and the prophesies were fulfilled in the New Testament.

Old Testament: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call him name Immanuel." ~ Isaiah 7:14 (Immanuel means "God with us")
New Testament: "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And he knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." ~ Matthew 1:18-25

Old Testament: "When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt." ~ Hosea 11:1
New Testament: "Behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son." ~ Matthew 2:13-15
