God is the creator of all things. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is Alpha & Omega; the beginning and ending; which is, and which was, and which is to come; the Almighty; the first and the last; the Great I Am; Love; the Merciful Father of all; Lord God; he created all things, and is everywhere!

In Exodus 3:14 when Moses asks God what he should tell the children of Israel if they ask for God's name God said, "I am that I am".

In Numbers 23:19 when Balaam is speaking to Balak after meeting with the Lord concerning the children of Israel he says, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"

In First John 1:3 John writes, "Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." And in First John 1:5 he writes, "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."

In Revelation 4:2-11 John writes, "Behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third  beast had the face of a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beast had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

There is so much more I could say about God the Father, that I cannot list them all here. He is wonderful, merciful, gracious, loving, and also jealous. He asks us to have no other Gods before him, which is to say not to worship false Gods, idols, or anything on the earth or in the heavens. Some lost people worship the stars, sun, moon, trees, mortal man, and even computers and television (the average person spends years of their life watching TV, imagine what they could accomplish if they read the Bible and prayed during that time)! How awful to put your trust in something that cannot help you. Take a step in the right direction, read the Bible, pray, attend church, and God will bless you in many ways. God loves us all!
