According to its medical power, Koryo Insam is the most powerful red ginseng, it is origin from Kaesong, South Phyongan province of north Korea, the second is Shizhu Ginseng(石柱人參) from Jilin province, China, the third is Jilin Ginseng(吉林人參) from Jilin province, China too, other red ginsenf from south Korea and Japan are NOT so useful, if you visit north Korea, don't forget to buy Koryo Insam, it still be cataloged into 3 class : 『天』(Sky), 『地』(Ground) and 『人』(Human), you need to use your passport to buy Koryo Insam, and limited to 613g per visit, the marketing price in north Korea is US$400(『天』Sky, 20 pieces), and it costs US$800 in Hong Kong, China.
跟據藥用價值來說，最強的就是北朝鮮平安南道開城附近種植的高麗人參，其次是中國吉林省的石柱人參，然後是吉林人參，而南朝鮮及日本的紅參則功效微弱，若您到訪朝鮮，請勿忘記去購買，然而只能攜帶一斤(613g)出境！通常都要憑護照購買，跟據藥用功效強弱，還分成三種等級：『天』、『地』及『人』，每人限買一斤(613g)，朝鮮的當地價格約為US$400(『天』20枝裝庄)，中國香港的市場價格是US$800。

Pyongyang Department Stores are divided into 2 groups, the first group mainly provide importation and south Korean products, Rakwon Department Store is a sample, their price is still in KPW, you must use foreign currency to exchange Korean Won through the exchange desk of this foreign shop, and use such KPW to shopping.
平壤的百貨商店可被分成兩類，第一類是進口商品店，主要提供進口貨品及南朝鮮的商品，樂園百貨商店就是屬於這類別，但它仍是以朝鮮圜標價，您必須在該商店內以外幣兌換朝鮮圜，然後以在該商店換來的朝鮮圜購物。
Another group provide major Korean products. Pyongyang First Department Store is the biggest, it is open on 14th April, 1982, 40,000m2 area, 54m high's 10 stories building, apart from Korean products, it has a little Chinese importations.
另一類主要提供北朝鮮的商品，平壤第一百貨商店是屬於這類別的旗艦店，亦是北朝鮮最大的百貨商店，它在1982年4月14日開業，面積高達 40,000m2，樓高 10 層，主要售賣北朝鮮的商品，但仍有少量中國商品。
Korean department stores always offer sale promotion on 16th February and 15th April, during these 2 days, all products have 20% less, so many guys crazily shopping.
朝鮮的百貨商店通常都在每年的 2月16日及 4月15日，舉行減價促銷活動，所有貨品打八折，因些許多朝鮮人瘋狂購物。
