An US tourist ask me: Can I call a prostitute for fun in China?

I reply: Why not ! China has so many poor guys be prostitutes for life, but they are all in Taiwan province. :-)

It is correct in north Korea too, prostitution is prohibited in the north, don’t expect that you can easy to hire a gigolo in Pyongyang, however, if you have enough attraction, you still can cruise at Kim Ii Shing Square. Remember don’t pay any money, it is an utmost serious sin in north Korea, you can give him some souvenir, say: ball pen, coins, candy, ... etc.

我回答：當然可以！中國有許多窮人為了生活而被逼賣淫，不過他們全部在臺灣省。

在北朝鮮亦然，嫖妓在北朝鮮是被禁止的行為，賣淫的人全部在南朝鮮，亦很難找到男妓。然而，若您自信自己擁有魅力，您可嘗試到金日成廣場找對像。緊記絕不能付款召妓，在朝鮮嫖妓屬嚴重罪行，您可以給他一些紀念品，例如：圓珠筆、硬幣，糖果等等。

At Chollima street, beside Potonggang river, just beside 17 stories Potonggang Hotel, erected a 4 stories Changgwangwon health complex, it was opened in March, 1980, 380,000m² area. The first and fourth floors are full of individual bath tubs and family bath pools; second and third floors are male and female public bathing area respectively, you may cruising in this area to enjoy a more close contact with Korean. Apart from bathing, it has warm and cool pools, steam room, 2 stories swimming hall with 2 jumbo size playing pools and 10m jumping pool and barbershop, its service hours is from 10:00 to 18:00, close on Wednesday. Recently, two similar health complex are opened, they are Rangnangwon(November, 2000) in south Pyongyang and Royal Favour(April, 2001) in ??? district, however, I don't have information, if you can provide, please feel free to email.

在千里馬大街，普通江畔，接近樓高17層普通江飯店，有一座樓高4層的蒼光院健康中心，它在1980年3月開放，面積高達380,000m²。第1及第4層樓都是個人或家庭浴盆；第2及第3層樓則分別是男女公共浴室，您若在這區域留連，便能跟朝鮮人有更親密的接觸。除了洗澡設施外，它還設有冷暖池、設有兩個大型嬉水池及高達10m的跳水設施的游泳館及理髮店，它的開放時間是10:00至18:00，每逢星期三停止開放。近年，還有開辦了兩家新的建康中心，它們是位於平壤南部樂浪區的樂浪院(2000年11月)及御恩院 (2001年4月)，但我沒有進一步的資料，若然您能提供，可寫電子郵件給我。

Bar Street 酒吧街 : At the rear of Koryo Hotel, it is Changgwang street, it has over 10 deluxe bars over there, they receive Chinese RMB, Euro or US$, a Chinese journalist use RMB 5 for one bottle of stout in March, 2004, and he drop down the price from neighbor snack hawker kiosk as : A box of kimchi costs 200 KPW; a roast chicken costs 800 KPW; a bowl of Pyongyang cold noodles costs 200 KPW; 500g rice cake costs 100 KPW; 1kg of pear costs 25 KPW; Ice Cream costs 5 KPW.

You can take metro, it is Yonggwang station of Chollima line.

在高麗飯店後面的街道便是蒼光大街，它有超過十家時尚酒吧，可以以中國人民幣、歐羅或美元消費，在2004年3月，有一位中國記者報導他使用了5元人民幣購買了一瓶黑啤酒，亦記載了鄰近的街頭零食小販價格：一盒泡菜售價是 200 KPW；一隻燒雞售價是 800 KPW；一碗平壤冷麵售價是 200 KPW；500g 的米糕售價是 100 KPW；1kg 的梨子售價是 25 KPW；冰淇淋的售價是 5 KPW。

您可搭乘平壤地鐵，千里馬線，榮光車站。

You can try to see an opera, or famous circus. 您亦可以去看一場歌劇或著名的平壤馬戲表演。

Kwangbok Street 光復大街

Opened in 1989, 3,500 seats. In Kwangbok Street in a modern part of Pyongyang, 8 km west of the city center. It is an enormous building. In front of the building is a square where you might see lots of children doing gymnastic exercises. The show contains a lot of acrobatics, performed in a dramatic, and sometimes politically inspired. There are also a few animal acts. Visitors are lots of Korean children and also some foreigners, mainly Chinese tourist groups.

1989年開放，3,500座位。位於平壤市中心以西8km的現代化光復大街上的巨形建築物，在它的前園裡，您可看見許多小孩子在做體操。這表演含有許多雜技，表演是在有劇情及含有政治色彩有的大型馬戲團。亦有部份由動物演出。觀眾大部分是朝鮮的兒童及外國遊客，尤其是中華人民共和國的旅遊團。
