Rudolf Oskar Irmer alias Gottschalk wrote already narrative aviation stories during WWI. One of his best known books was "Oswald Boelcke - an aviator life" of 1916. In 1922 Irmer joint Junkers Flugzeugwerke and became member of the PR Departement. Since 1923 he was responsible for the editorial of the "Junkers Nachrichten".

Walter Issel joint Junkers Luftverkehr in February 1924. In 1925 he was appointed for the board of directors at Rumpler Luftverkehrs AG on behalve of JLAG.
