Make sure that the email is sent from your personal email account (and that your email address is in the FROM: header) otherwise your account won't be subscribed to the list.

You will receive a message which provides general information about the list, as well as instructions on how to communicate with the list members. You may wish to save the message for future reference! (If you don't receive this message within an hour after when you sent your request, please contact [email protected].)

Note: if abusive behavior is exhibited by any list member, his/her list membership will be discontinued.

To unsubscribe to the HAIR mailing list, send the following in the BODY of an email message to [email protected]:

Make sure that the email is sent from the same account that is subscribed to the list, otherwise your account won't be unsubscribed; you'll continue to receive messages from the list.
