Projects and Current Researchs:
Current
Research:
Developments of analytical techniques to study lead in peat bogs, Lead extractions in peat samples, Peat samples preparations for multi-purposes measures: TIMS, ICP-MS, AAS measurements, Gamma Spectrometry, Rare Earth Elements
Age
Dating in peat bogs using
210Pb CRS model and 14C
age dating.
Fluid-solid interactions at the interface
between peat and
granite in an ombrogenic bog from the Black Forest (PhD director: Pr.
William Shotyk): Lead and Strontium isotopes provide an
elegant way to trace the migration of lead in peat profile, and at the
same time, to distinguish between the migration patterns of natural
(rock-derived) lead vs. Anthropogenic lead.
