Photo Albums
Always (by far!) the nicest page of a website: the Photo Album. At the moment, only about sixty photos will be placed, since there is no more place for more photos. We certainly hope you like the photos made of our community in the past few years. Some are of good quality since they are made with a digital camera, some are still of the normal-camera-and-scanner-period. Enjoy!
There are three separate photo pages, each one with its own theme. Below follow the descriptions of each album. You can also choose to see them all by choosing for the option "Photo Tour".
Dear visitor,
Greetings from The Vicosinos
Lodges & houses
In this album you can find different photos from the tourist lodges and the scenery where they're in, and of the houses of the hostfamilies. Get a grasp of the way they live, and start dreaming about your own stay in Vicos! Click on the photos to enter!
People & their activities
The colorfull people from Vicos are shown in this album, inviting you to come over and get to know them. The Vicosinos love to share their life with you, and here you will see in which daily activities you might partake. Click on the photos to enter.
Nature & hikes
The most beautiful pictures of the most exciting hikes! Close to the community or really far away from it, up into the mountains to stunning mountain lakes or even glaciars! Everything is possible. The Quebrada Honda for example, is a long valley up from Vicos, where the Vicosinos grow their native potatoes. It's an amazing scenery there, and hikes can take a few hours up to two days if you want to get until the end of the valley, where you can reach the glaciar. Click on the photos to enter!
