In the Beginning...

My full name is Kathryn Elizabeth Chaffin (formerly Frank) and I was born at UCLA medical center on February 15th, 1982.

I have two older half-brothers, and a younger brother who is actually my nephew. Confused? My parents adopted him when he was 4 months old... So I am my father's only child, and I like it that way. My little brother (Donny) and I grew up in an average suburban neighborhood in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Recently...

I met the man of my dreams, got married, and had a baby. I also gained a wonderful step son.

I am currently going to school at Westwood College in Los Angeles, California. I'm studying for my Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications. This web site is a project for one of my classes. If you'd like to see some of my work, please go to my portfolio.

After That...

My parents kept me busy with all sorts of activities when I was a kid. I started playing classical piano at the age of 4, I belonged to a kid's singing and dancing group and we wore frilly little orange and yellow dresses. Later on, I took dance lessons, swimming lessons, painting classes, played soccer, tee-ball, softball, hockey, and joined the school band. I marched at football games, and played the trombone in the jazz band.

You might think I had no time to get in trouble. You'd be wrong. I "fell in with the wrong crowd" and such... but I grew out of it. I think I'm better off for the experience.

I graduated high school and went to college without any direction (as so many do). I didn't really do anything serious until just recently.
