Rules for the Guardians Of Tanelorn
1. Use the Guild Channel
Every member must use the guild channel. It's the best way to meet other members in game and a good way to interact with everyone. More importantly, you can keep up with the goings-on in the game at the current time!
2. Use the Guild Forum
You are supposed to look at our forum atleast on the weekends to check the news. It's the best way to contact everyone since it's impossible to meet everyone in game at the same time.
3. Pay the Guild Fee
There is a fee of 1.000 gold pieces to be paid. This money will be used to pay Moonkeep's rent, as well as to cover funds for our various events. Look in our guild forum for the thread explaining how the guild money is spent and how much we have saved.
4. Act respectfully to all Tibians
Guardians are not here to kill, but to defend life! We want to cultivate a good reputation in the community of Amera, so be nice to everyone- especially your fellow Guardians!
5. Do not break the Tibia Rules
All the Tibia rules are included as guild rules for us. You may think it won't affect anyone but yourself, but you're wrong, and the guild's history shows this. We want to make a good reputation in this world! Guild members who cheat or break other Tibia rules will be severely punished.
6. Neutrality
All guild members shall remain neutral on issues that do not concern Tanelorn, and shall keep their opinions amongst ourselves. This includes, but is not limited to, wars of any kind, random player-killing situations, etc.
7. No Player Killing!
Since we are a guild that supports roleplaying, killing another human would be the absolute last resort you would use! You may do this to defend yourself from an attack if you cannot flee. Killing another character will normally bring investigations and will be punished to extremes if the killing was not necessary.
8. Have fun!
Of course this is the main objective for us all; to enjoy our time here! So have fun, but maintain your responsibility.
Members who do not follow our rules will face different punishments, depending on what they did. Understand that the rules are there not to be boring, but to help the guild to grow and be a better community day by day.
Punishments:
Punishments are decided by the royal guards and the leader, depending on the actions of the member whether the punishment is hard or light.
Light punishments: Pay a small amount of money, kitchen patrol (the member is given a stupid mission, like collecting a backpack of daggers, clubs, wooden shields). Ashaming title like "pay the guild fee", "check the guild forum".
Medium Punisments: Downgrade of ranks, kicking from guild, ashaming rank "corrupted old gnome".
Hard punisments: Excluded from guild permanently, death, be hunted by the guild.
