Journey Through the Dark

History:
The Tanelornians were able to drive away Thanatus Soulstealer and his evil hords back to the darkness. Lean, a former inhabitant of the island, finnaly recovered his mind, which was tormented by evil toughts.
The people of the realm was not willing to allow him to live there again, but her daughter Cleopatra convinced everyone to give a second chance to her beloved father.

Lean's mind was still captured by Thanatus, but slowly he was making his way to freedom. Thanatus tought he still had control over Lean, and using the bard as a spy inside the realm was a great maneuver, indeed.
Lean could not act with goodness as he wished or else Thanatus would notice that his mind was almost free, Lean was a spy, but for Tanelorn.
One day he decided to visit an old friend, Grundar, a dwarf geomancer who lived at Mt. Firehill, at night he departed.
Cleopatra noticed her father leaving, and called all her friends, the group who went in the Great Abyss, to track her father and discover what was happening.

Lean explained the situation to Grundar, and the dwarf used all his magic powers in a ritual to release Lean's soul. It worked.
During the ritual Lean had terrible visions, Thanatus and his army were moving again toward Tanelorn, he also saw strange runes, mysterious symbols, what does that mean?!

The ritual was over and the bard woke up, Cleopatra and his friends finnaly appeared, he explained the situation to Grundar and to his friends. An army is going to invade Tanelorn again, Lean quickly wrote the symbols and runes he saw in a paper and showed it to Grundar, the dwarf said it was some kind of ancient language, maybe someone at Tanelorn knows the answer? The biggest problem was that they could not walk at the surface, or else they would run into Thanatus and his army.

Grundar told them about a tunnel at Mt. Firehill that could take them to Tanelorn in safety, the dwarves used to live there, but now it's abandonded, and there are rumors that evil creatures took control of the place.
That doesn't matter, the group agreeded that they would do anything to save their land, they entered the dark tunnel, and started their journey trough the dark...

Now older and wiser Cleopatra wanted to know what was happening to her father. So she convinced a group of travellers to follow her and pursuit her father. The travellers all decide to come with her, ready for another adventure. Cleopatra herself has gotten stronger since the last battle with Thanatus,through practicing the art of sword fighting and rune shooting every day.

Lean the Bard Played By: Ranger Aragorn

After the first battle between Tanelorn and Thanatus the bard started to take control over his mind again, Thanatus still had control of it, so Lean had to be careful with his actions. All he wanted was to sing his songs at his pub and to hug his daughter, but he couldn't or else the Soulstealer would notice that he started to break the spell.

Lean decided to visit and old friend of him at Mt. Firehill, a ritual was made and he finally got back the control over his mind, he also had the opportunity to had vision about the future plans of the undead hords, a massive attack at Tanelorn, again.
The bard and his friends decided to use an underground path to avoid the undead hords at the surface, and notify the Guardians about the attack.

Rosemarie was born to a lowly family; the Hargletins. She spent her childhood growing up in the slums of Carlin. Stealing, killing and cheating were her ways of surviving as her parents not only had not the means to give her anything but also not the love to give her, either.

It was a dreary, gloomy day when she learned of her powers. The rain was falling; she was wet and chilled wandering the streets. Another prankster had yet again stolen her only bread. Angry and frustrated she screamed into the heavens, and then it happened. There was a loud crash of thunder and a monstruous flash of lightening crashed to the ground. Taken aback at what she presumably just caused, she tried again; and this time she saw the glitter of electric flashing in her eyes just before it happened once more.

From that point forward, she trained in the area of sorcery with the multitudes of sorcerers she came across as they were passing through Carlin. She traveled the lands until finally finding the one she searched for; The Great Merlin. It was here that she came to her full power, as she knew it. From this point, none know exactly what has happened to her. She married a man; Ferumbras. And when he died not too long ago, she became his widow, hiding away in a far off land; Nadoola.

We shall certainly hear more from her as the days wear on.....
