Amera Role Playing Event: Week 1

Introduction:

-Thais Recruits Special Forces-

The brave battle leader Solisio is given word directly from King Tibianus himself to recruit the best and brightest supporters of Thais to carry out a series of secret missions that will forever impact the lands of Tibia. If they can succeed the King and his armies may be able to finally silence the Queen of Carlin and force the city to accept the Kings reign as leader of all the lands. However if they fail it is them that may be forced to live under Carlin rule.

Solisio visits Frodo's tavern for a short time and ponders the importance of his role and the task set out before him. He needs to find and train a small elite force but also must keep the actual mission secret from them as well, at least until they have proven there abilities and loyalty. He begins to plan out the announcement as he sips his ale.

After finishing up he quickly packs a few things and heads across the sea to Rookgaard looking for his recruits to be trained for this mission.

My name is Solisio and have traveled from the halls of King Tibianus III to take over training and recruitment from Seymour. Our King has a special assignment for those who prove to be worthy for he seeks to bring Carlin back into the Thaian rule as it always has been! He even extends his invitation out to all you men and women for the glory of the city lies in all of our hands. Join me now, brothers and sisters for the glory of Thais! Long live the Kingdom of Thais!

If they can succeed the Queen and her armies may be able to finally silence the King back in Thais and force them to accept her rule of all the lands of Tibia. However if they fail it is them that may be forced to live under the Thais rule.

Lai Cha visits White Wave Cellar for a short time and ponders the importance of her role and the task set out before her. She needs to find and train a small elite force but also must keep the actual mission secret from them as well, at least until they have proven there abilities and loyalty. Brave warriors!

I, Lai Cha, am here today with a proposal that could change your lives forever! My sisters in Carlin have predicted troubles on the horizon for the city. We sense that troubles are brewing with those hardheaded men to the south. Queen Eloise herself has appointed me as her trusted adviser and recruiter for more hands in our efforts. She even extends her invitation out to you men for all of our efforts will be needed for our city's sake.

Each team gathered with the recruiter, Solisio for Thais, and Lai Cha for Carlin. Once the mission was explain the teams where given some supplies and a set of scrolls with tasks to complete.

The Scrolls

1. To prove your strength you survive the wilderness of Crunor till you reach nothing but darkness. You must then venture deep within and survive its protectors, who are the followers of this realm of shadows. On the strong warrior will be able to carry you on to the great depth where you will find the lonely servant of warden of souls hidden within. However once there you must also slay the beast as a final show of strength.

2. As a mission of stealth at least one member of you must seek out and slay the lonely guard sent out from Markwin himself to watch the shores of Rookgaard. However in doing so you must not let Dallheim see you cross for you must do this while remaining humble and having not killed any other creature.

3. To prove your wisdom is simple, all you must do is seek out and return to me a few items I require to return home.
�I am no longer in favor of the Oracle, but I still need to cross over to the Mainland. I seek to brave the cold and dangerous waters protected by the mighty Bastesh herself, and it is likely I shall not survive the seas if I do not provide her with an offering. What I require is an offering consisting of the remains of several creatures. I require a vial of fluid from a dead follower of Banor, the flesh from a dead follower of Crunor, a vial of fluid take from a dead follower of Nunor, the still fresh corpse of one of Urgith's scouts, and a rare flesh from a dead follower of Bastesh herself. Find me those items and present them to me in a box fitting of such an offering.�

4. Finally you must prove your ability to work as a team, in doing so you must all complete your training and all prove your worth to the oracle to cross together and seek out the King or Queen for further details.

At this point the race was on.
Both teams completed all the tasks set before them and eventually crossed into mainland as follows.

6. Zavzor - Thais
7. Diana Grace - Carlin

As this was the longest event, and some could not complete it do to rl issues or time the winner was based on the percentage that started who crossed and the order.
Thais was declared the winner of week 1, and received a bit better prizes but all involved got something.

Also Special awards went to Harlequin Gwen for her great leadership and work during the event. She completed task 1 and task 2 alone, as well as nearly sabotaged Thais at least once and crossed over to mainland first.

Also a special prize was given to Diana Grace who continued leveling even after Carlin lost.


Solutions to the Scrolls
� Scroll 1 - Finding the single rotworm in the poison spider cave and killing it.
� Scroll 2 - Taking the secret path out of town and then going to the minotaur on the hill without having killed any creature yet, then killing the minotaur
� Scroll 3 - Delivering to your team recruiter a present box with a flask of blood, piece of meat, flask of slime, dead rat, and a piece of salmon.
� Scroll 4 - All members of the team crossing to mainland.

The teams are all lined up to begin. I be they're all excited for what's in store for them. What's Lai eating there? It's Harlequin Gwen homemade short bread of course!

Solisio is briefing his new recruits on their mission, a fine group of lads there.


Harlequin Gwen seems to be ready. Keep an eye behind your backs Carlin spys could be lurking. o.o


The Thais team has slayed to beast! Congratulations and they got there first. Good job.


Harlequin Gwen is indeed one brave lady. While the entire Thais team took down the beast all Carlin needed was Harlequin! ~appaluds~


The Carlin recruiter was to be a cookie? Is this some secret code? Be aware Thais...
