We will have a comprehensive hockey program consisting of on-ice development, off-ice video and chalk talk training, and strength and fitness development.

Games - We will play roughly 60 games during the season consisting of the following:

League games 38
Playoffs (depending on seaonal performance) 6
Tournaments/exhibition 16
TOTAL (excluding playoffs) 60

All league games will be week-end series consisting of Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning (or early afternoon) games. Golden Eagles home games will be played at the new Seven Peaks Arena.

Practices - On-ice practices will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah. On weekends when we have a league bye, we will have additional practices and games as required to stay sharp.  During the month of September, we will have our training camp wich will consist of on-ice practices a minimum of six times per week. Exact times and dates will be provided at the beginning of camp.

Strength and conditioning training - Each player will be given a membership toooo World's Gym and a specific program of weight training, flexibility exercises, plyometrics, and anaerobic conditioning. Team workouts will be held regularly for testing purposes. Players will be expected to do their workouts (three per week in total) on their own schedule. A certified trainer will work with the team to ensure program compliance and proper technique is maintained.

Video Instructions - All games will be video-taped. Every week the team will review these tapes together and discuss the positive and negative components. Chalk talk will be conducted prior to on-ice practice sessions and will stress understanding of hockey systems and visualization.
