All players will be expected to attend school full time or have a full-time job. If you are attending high school, you will be assigned a billet family to live with. If you have graduated from high school, you will have the choice of living in an apartment or living with a billet family. Although not mandatory for high school graduates, I encourage all players to live with a billet family. It is very cost effective and helps build community involvement with the hockey team.

The coaching staff believes very strongly that education is a critical aspect of each player's life. In fact, the hockey program is designed to help players prepare for NCAA Division I competition. We have already made arrangements for high school aged players to enroll in one of three schools in Utah Valley. Counselors are prepared to work with the counselors from the home school to ensure a smooth transition takes place and that course curriculae will lead to NCAA rules compliance.

We will ask parents to inform the coaching staff of expected grade standings and will work with players and parents to ensure these education standards are maintained. In the event a student is having significant difficulties, we are arranging for tutorial help to be available
