This is not a complete walkthrough. This is a summary, and then a review. I would do a walkthrough, but I kinda already took it back, so I have to go on mememary. I hope you enjoy the review. Here it is. Well, first off, I don't know why everyone hates it so much. Sure, the beginning sucked, and you do some gay quests that aren't in the game, but without the quests your wouldn't get stronger as easily and you it would take about an hour to beat. So here we go. Summary-You start off on Master Roshi's Island. Gohan is six, that's wrong, he's supposed to be 4, but he could be five if you do what Funimation said. Well, after you get 3 of his magazines, you see Raditz. They talk, he takes Gohan, Piccollo comes, he leaves, Goku leaves, and pops up at his house. Well, you then die, like fiftey million times till you get the hang of it, and then do stuff. If have to go through this forest, that's where you die a lot. Wolves, Dinosours, and even snakes can kill you. It get annoying after awhile. You do some quests, meet up with Tien, Chouzu, and Yamcha in the forest too. They give you experence points so you can get stronger. Once you kill the dinosaur in the woods, some old dude teaches you Solar Flare. Then it's off to fight Raditz. (this is when the game actually gets fun) Raditz isn't that hard once you get the hang of fighting with Solar Flare. I proabally died like 5 times before I got the hang of it. What you do is use it, punch him like twice, then run/fly away. It works. Once you weaken him enough, Piccollo does his special Beam Cannon, and you die. You then go to King Yemma's and go left to Snake way. You walk, kill Princess snake (who is very easy) the fall off. You do another quest in Hell/HFIL where you find the 3 lost spirits. Once you do that, you can go to King Yemma's tree and the Red dude comes, you grab him, and then you have to start on snake way all over again. Well, there are no destractions this time. You walk for like at the most maybe a minute, and then you have to fly to King Kai's planet. His planet is the easiest thing ever!!! Bubbles is easy, not a challenge at all. I think it took me 15 seconds at them most to catch him. Then Gergeory took like maybe 20, 30 seconds. He, yes King kai, not Master Roshi, teaches you the Kameamea wave. After that you end up (after some quick talking and a quick seen of the dragon being summoned) at Kami's Place. (you don't have to go back Snake Way) If you talk to Kami and Mr. Popo, they give you experince points, Korrin gives you a senzu bean. Then you fly down, stop some bank robbers and save a kid, then you fight the saiyans. Ok, I used the same tatic on this as I did on Raditz. I used Solar Flare, punched, then ran/flew away. I died a few times, but then I got the hang on it. Once you kill Nappa, you fight Vegeta. Once you beat him, he turns in a big Monkey, Yajorobi cuts off his tail, Gohan turns Ozaro, and then goes back to normal. Then you end up on Namek. They could have made you help out Mr. Briefs or do a quest or something in the space ship, but no, you just pop right up on Namek. At first you should die easily from Freeza's men. But if you train, you'll be able to kill them all with one ki Blast, its pretty sweet when you're that strong. You do some stuff, save some trees, and kill some guys. Then you go to the Namek Temple, thats the hardest part. I had to look at a walkthrough to figure out how to beat it. It took me like an hour and a half. Once you get through you fight Rekum, Burter, Jiece, and Captin Gyniu. They're all fairly easy. You do some more stuff. Find Freeza's ship. I trained there. Then you go into the healer thing. Then you fight Freeza which is one of the easiest, if not easiest bose in the game. You fight his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then 4th form. When he changes to his 4th, he kills Krillen, and then you go Super Saiyan. You're a lot stronger, and beat him pretty easily. The game ends with Namek explodeing Gohan and the others wishing Yamcha, Tien, Chouzu, back to life and the Nameks going to New Namek. The End. Review-Well, I know it's more than everyone else, but this game actually took me 5 hours to beat. I liked it, other than the beginning and the shortness, it was good. Short, you know who else is short, Kid Buu. lol. Well, I liked the graphics the most. They were really good. GBA's just keep on amazing me. They're like portable Super Nintendos, except better. The story line was good, except for some dumb stuff. EX: Gohan being 6, King Kai teaching Goku the Kameameam wave, Wolves being able to kill Goku. Stuff like that. I really don't know why people didn't like it that much. I guess because mainly the time (around 3 1/2 hours for most people to beat), the wolves, and the errors in the plot. I mean, he never did stop to save a bank when his friends were being killed by Nappa. Over all, I really liked Legacy of Goku, it could be better, and you should probally (if you buy it) buy it a EB or some place where you can trade games in, try and beat in like a week and then try and return for another game, because it's not long, and you problally wouldn't want to play again. Pretty good game. Rating-7 out of 10 |
