Our Commitment

Gobiin Ogloo are committed to ensuring the safe and exciting journey of each and every tourist, while also caring about the preservation of Mongolia's eco-system and it's precious flora and fauna. Before each tour we take great care in listening what the client wants and we endeavour to do everything in our power to ensure that each and every tour is a happy and enjoyable experience.

Before each tour, we carefully look at each itinerary and carefully select each camping spot along the route to ensure the tourist has maximum safety while still enjoying the beautiful landscape that Mongolia has to offer.

Our tour guides are trained in first-aid procedures and know what to do in case of an emergency. They know how to act under pressure and always have the health and safety of the tourist as their first priority. We have fist aid kits available for usage. In the event of serious injury or illness, we will evacuate that person and make sure that the person receives medical attention. The tour guides are knowledgeable in Mongolian history and culture, so that they can give you information on sites, events and general information on Mongolia. We employ local guides in each specific area as they are knowledgeable about the best routs and attractions within the region. All the equipment (including tents, saddles etc) used on the tour are tested for safety and comfort before the trip.

All our meals are prepared using fresh and healthy ingredients. Some dishes are prepared by local herdsmen who use traditional nomadic methods to prepare the food. Although you may not be used to this type of food, previous tourists have said the meals are very tasty and delicious.

The vehicles that we use are tested for safety and reliability so that you will be able to have a comfortable journey. We use Russian furgons and land cruisers. Our drivers have many years experience driving on Mongolian roads and are also able mechanics who are able to repair most breakdowns. Strict road rules apply for the duration of the journey. Our drivers stop at regular intervals so you can rest and relax, and at certain points bring you to local guanz (restaurants) so that you won't get too hungry. Each vehicle is also fitted with seat belts.

As evidence of our commitment to eco-tourism, we are involved in the PATA Green Leaf program. As a member, Gobiin Ogloo has an important commitment to conduct activities based on the principles of PATA's "Code for Environmentally Responsible Tourism." We ensure

We support local initiatives and hire local guides to support the local economy. We are helping rebuild the lives of local herdsmen. Mongolia experience a dzud (a bizzard in which temperatures dropped below -40) and as a result countless livestock died which proved to be a devastating blow to the local herdsmen. We do our best to support them and have hired them as guides. Even though they may have had past tragedies, you will be delighted and charmed by their genuine hospitality when you visit them in their gers.

We are glad you have decided to visit Mongolia and are delighted you have picked Gobiin Ogloo to be with you in Mongolia. We hope to see you soon and to make your journey a magical and memorable experience.
