CHAPTER 15

It was a few hours later when the chair jostled him awake. Before Sim was the city, a massive blemish in the vast stretches of greenery. Simeon began plotting in what route to take trough the sterile valleys of metal and malleable stone. The hoverlift glided around the corners with a sense of purpose, and it settled in front of the Executive Building like an inky black stain on a clean white shirt.

Simeon hopped out of the hoverlift and strode with confidence into the building. Every person he passed gave him a questioning glance. He stood out because he wasn't wearing the day's color, and this massive breach of etiquette had never been observed before. This perception only hammered down the importance of this mission, and Simeon correspondingly quickened his pace. There was no worry of getting lost in this building. Like all of its kind, it had been laid out in the most efficient and orderly manner. All he needed to do was reach the center.

At last the massive doorway stood before him. Simeon entered the lobby on the other side of this doorway, and he felt full of conviction. The Executive would see his viewpoint. It was the best for all the people of Pullus.
