Suitable Hamster for You
There are so many different types of hamsters available in the
market, which one is really suitable for you or your kid.
The 5 common types of hamsters that are available in the market
are the Syrian hamsters; the dwarf Roborovski; the dwarf Campbell Russian
hamster; the Winter White Russian hamster as well as the Chinese hamsters.
For kids of relatively young age, the Syrian Hamsters may be
more suitable for them. Syrian are bigger in size and easier to tame hence it
is easier for the little kids to hold. And they do not run as fast the
roborovski hamsters.
If you prefer to watch the creatures running about in the cage,
then roborovski is suitable for you. They are harder to tame so most hobbyist
only watch them run about in their cage. That may be a form of entertainment
for some.
As for the Russian hamsters, they are more easily tamed and they
are willing to let you hold them in your palms for short period of time. Not
that suitable for kids as these hamsters are much smaller in size and may be
difficult for them to hold.
