20th - 26th September
Saturday saw the final moving of my stuff up to The House of The Lord. The shock on the faces of my housemates at the amount of stuff I brought up was clear for all to see, but then you can guess who has been using it all ever since!! In fact on my return I found a tin of biscuits opened and then resealed, courtesy of Mr Whitley and Mr Ranford.
The reason I had to return on the Monday was that I had to be back at Hightown for the baptism of some of my dearest friends Bex, Iain, Katie, Ian and Luke. And it truely was an amazing night, one of the best of my life, but I didn't cry (just!) of which I am proud. Hehe. Well done to the guys and girls though, they did so so well.
So from Monday morning I became a Warwick Uni lad again and began to prepare for the new term and to settle into the house. Thanks to the Hearsall Lane massif for hosting us to watch the slightly twisted film of The Beach and to all the visitors that came to check out our digs!
Friday saw the CU pre-term conference and my first chance to lead some singing with a band behind me again! We were challenged about working (well studying) as working for God, challenging stuff at the start of your 2nd year of maths! |
