Bank Holiday Monday saw the opportunity to break from daily driving lessons and take a trip with friends and family. The day was spent at Billing Aquadrome near Northampton. We hit the pub for a cup of tea although the hot drinks machine was broken so some went in search of the local garden centre while the lads downed a pint. Oh and Iain eased down a 16oz steak. After that it was back to the cars to picnic out and play with frisbees. Once the food had all gone down we made our way to the fairground where the dodgems became too tempting. Brandon and Dan had been dying to attack a man in a bear's costume all afternoon and well that bear really did choose the wrong time to get onto the dodgems! Enough said. All in all it was a fun old day without the frills. |
