Getting started
This section is for relative beginners to online gaming - in it you should find all the information you need to get hold of this game, get it installed and working and finding servers to play on as well as a basic guide to the game itself. Most of you should be able to skim through this or not bother reading it at all but if it's get's just ine person up and running then it'll be worth it.

Training 1.0
Training is a very important part of your progress through this game. All the courses offered teach and test you on particular skills that will come to rely on later on. Most of the training courses are pretty easy so even relative novices should be able to get through these without too much bother.

The one thing you should remember is that the training courses give you access to weapons and equipment that you may encounter only rarely later on - for this reason you should use the training courses as practise sessions - don't just skim over them with the aim of getting a pass and moving on - try and get a bit more in depth, work out what you are being shown and what skills you are gaining then practise them.

Once you become familiar with the more exotic equipment and weapons you will be able to make much better use of them when you encounter them in the field.

You MUST create a online account before you enter the training - if you do not you will not be able to enter your results in your online jacket and you will have to retake the courses. This could be extremely frustrating if you get a cracking score on the rifle range and can't save it.

Weapons 1.0
This section contains all the information you need to know about the various weapons available to you including their statistical data and strengths and weaknesses.

The most important thing to remember is KNOW YOUR WEAPON - it is very important for you be aware of the various weapon characteristics as well as what they actually look like so that if you need to pick up a dropped weapon you know what you're getting and have adjusted your playing style accordingly so you can hit the ground running.

Read the data, practise with the various weapons so you feel you are confident using all of them to their fullest potential.

Maps 1.0
We all know how it is when you first play a new game. The weapons are normally pretty familiar, most use some form of classes and that is all pretty standard. However, the first time you play a new map you have NO idea as to where you are, where the enemy is and where your goals are.

After some play you normally get the hang of maps and soon find out where everything is. In this section I aim to delve a little deeper into the maps showing satellite photos, floor plans and assault / defence tactics.

Hopefully this section will show the newbie their way around and maybe even give some information to long time players.

The assault and defence tactics of the maps written here and really meant for the relative newbie to give them a better idea of how to approach the maps. I don't mention teamwork much - it is a sad fact that teamwork is rare on public servers. YOu should always do your best to work as a team - if there is a squad commander who is giving out orders and seems to have his head screwed on then do what he says and see how it works out. If your team are moving as a group then stay with them and cover as best you can. If not though you should find these strategies useful if you are forced to take the lone wolf approach. I will not say the Rambo approach here. You have tried to work as a team but found that no one else is bothering which is a shame but pretty common.

Grenades 1.0
This section contains all the information you need to know about the various grenades available to you including their statistical data and strengths and weaknesses.

Grenades, while highly effective in the right hands, can be extremely dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced / careless soldier. It cannot be too highly emphasized that you need to take care when using them as well as being aware of the position and heading of your team mates. Grenades do not differentiate between friends and enemies - remember this.

When used correctly though, grenades can make the difference between winning and losing, allowing you to engage targets at distance while not exposing yourself to enemy fire.

As always, practise, practise, practise - run a local game and get used to their various characteristics - you will play much better for it.
