Pipeline is a large map with a an extensive inside area. It is played during the day so outside visibility is good though a lot of the action takes place indoors where the lighting may not be so good. The goals of the attackers is to close three oil valves located at various position throughout the plant OR get to the main control room. This either or / scenario makes for some interesting battles as there is no single place to defend from. Attackers working in teams may have a number of strategies so it may take a lot of second guessing to work out what they are up to. In addition, the sheer size of the buildings make it hard to pin anyone down. However, there are lots of great defensive spots and gantries and ledges to organise ambushes from.
