The M67 is the standard-issue grenade used by the U.S. Army. Weighing 14 oz, the M67 can be thrown up to 40m by most soldiers, with a blast radius of up to 15 meters. It is effective against area targets outdoors as well as in clearing rooms.

Because of its large blast radius extreme care should be taken when using this grenade as the probability of damaging your team mates is high.

The grenade has quite a long fuse - a good tactic to use is to pull the pin then release the safety lever while still holding the grenade - you then have 5 seconds before it will go off - count carefully then throw this grenade at the last second giving your opponents the least possible warning.

The safety lever makes a loud pinging sound when it hits the ground - this will alert any enemies to it's presence - if the above tactic is not used then you have 5 seconds to get out the way. As always, be aware of your surrounding so that if you hear that ping (a noise you will undoubtedly learn to hate) you have an escape route planned - used ineffectively fragmentation grenades are relatively easy to defend against though in the right hands they are literally lethal.
