12. Benjamin Franklin⁴ GORDON (Alson³, Samuel², Alexander¹)⁽¹⁹⁾ was born in Greenville County, South Carolina 14 December 1849. Benjamin died 17 July 1917 in Canton, Haywood County, North Carolina, at 67 years of age. His body was interred 18 July 1917 in Oak Forest Presb.Ch., Sand Hill Road, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC.

He married Nancy Anna FARMER in Bethel, Haywood County, North Carolina, 26 March 1870. Nancy was born 22 December 1853. She was the daughter of William Farmer and Martha A. Patsy Keller. Nancy died 18 March 1941 in Mills River, Henderson County, North Carolina, at 87 years of age.⁽²⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Oak Forest Presb.Ch., Sand Hill Road, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC. 37 ii. Theadore Emmet GORDON was born 4 June 1873. Theadore died 3 December 1875 in Mills River, Henderson County, North Carolina, at 2 years of age. His body was interred in Whitaker Family Cemetery in N. Mills River, NC.⁽²²⁾

+ 44 ix. Ulysses Herman "Dock" GORDON was born 26 April 1890.

46 xi. Elura Mae (Elvira Mae?) GORDON was born in Haywood County, North Carolina 28 August 1896. Elura died 10 December 1908 at 12 years of age.⁽²⁸⁾ Her body was interred in Oak Forest Presb.Ch., Sand Hill Road, Asheville, Buncombe Co.
