George Alison⁵ GORDON (Benjamin Franklin⁴, Alson³, Samuel², Alexander¹) was born in Haywood County, North Carolina 2 June 1894.⁽⁷⁰⁾ George died 14 May 1973 in Hendersonville, Henderson Co., North Carolina, at 78 years of age. His body was interred 16 May 1973 in Reeves Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Buncombe Co., NC.

He married Paris Metcalf. Paris was born 9 February 1895. Paris died 21 March 1977 in Forest Park, Georgia, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred in Reeves Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Buncombe Co., NC.

Occupation: Baptist Minister. He resided in Asheville, Buncombe Co., North Carolina.

George Alison GORDON and Paris Metcalf had the following children:
