38. Joseph Webster⁵ GORDON (Benjamin Franklin⁴, Alson³, Samuel², Alexander¹)⁽⁵⁸⁾ was born in Haywood County, North Carolina 25 February 1876.⁽⁵⁹⁾ Joseph died 5 May 1927 at 51 years of age. His body was interred 7 May 1927 in Oak Forest Presb.Ch., Sand Hill Road, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC.

He married Laura Sisk in Haywood County, NC (at the home of the bride), 26 November 1899. Laura was born in Pigeon River, Haywood Co., North Carolina 19 March 1881. Laura died 25 September 1959 at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Oak Forest Presb.Ch., Sand Hill Road, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC.
