Gathering in Thebia

SUMMARY OF PERTINENT INFORMATION

1) Ceres was summoned back by Argent and Morgan and is now in the body of Anhur.

2) Ceres/Morgan and Argent are trying to summon the Nameless One back from beyond the Veil. This entity is something along the lines of a Lord or Lady of Order/Chaos. Which means it is a Power in its own right. Why they want it back is likely because of the Power it will grant them. The spell to summon it requires a large amount of life energy and souls of those that created Powers. With the recovery of the various Corwins' life energies and souls, they are now without a key component. That doesn't mean they won't try to steal others, though the daggers they created are to do this and the spell are now destroyed.

There are two tasks that need to be done here, they need to be done roughly at the same time though you could try to do one then another, but the wrong order could make a very difficult end game battle if Ceres/Argent/Morgan summon the Nameless One.

Tasks:
1) Find the summoning spell and destroy it.
2) Remove Ceres soul from Anhur

Then of course Deal with Argent and Morgan.

For task 1: Marcus and Theo
For task 2: Merikara and Sharon

THE STORY:

Theo looked around at everyone. "So, what's the plan?"

Sharon looked at Merikara, probably expecting from her the answer for Theo's question.

Merikara pulled herself out of her thoughts. "It seems Theo should accompany Marcus. I believe Sharon would be of aid to my task, should her mother not have a problem with that."

"I'm sure my Mom won't mind." Sharon replied with a soft smile.

"I'll be glad to go with you," Theo said, smiling at Marcus. "You'll have to take point, though, since I don't have a clue how to go about this."

Marcus gave a disarming smile. "Heh. I was hoping you would lead."

He was thoughtful for few seconds, then continued, "We won't be alone." he added as reassuringly as possible. "We'll have The Orb, The Tree, and The Three to help guide us."

"The Orb, the Tree and the Three?" Theo asked, melting a bit under his smile. "Are those your sacred objects?"

"Aye." Marcus answered. "The Orb is my source of power. The Tree is our life force, the Fey that is, and The Three are our gods," he offered by way of explanation.

"I am sworn Champion of The Orb, defender if you will. I believe that goes for The Tree and The Three as well. At least it seems that way." Marcus finished with a quirky grin.

"My mother is Fey, well, she is now," Theo said, her face smoothing with memory. "I owe you a lot... So we just start off then without knowing what we're looking for exactly?"

"So it would seem." Marcus replied. "Is there any preparation you need to make before we head out?" he asked.

"I can see if The Three will point us in the right direction or give us any guidance while you're doing that," Marcus offered.

At Marcus's mention of The Three -- the Orb said and Theo and Marcus heard,"Both of you have power to seek in shadow. Lady Theo can fix an image of what you seek in her mind and Marcus, you linked with her can open a gate to close to where you much go, thereby shorting your trip. But ware, the spell is not without its guardians. And you are not the only ones to seek it."

"Brilliant," Theo said sarcastically. "Well... in that case, we'd better get while the getting's good. Unless you need to do anything first?"

Marcus arched an eyebrow as The Orb spoke.

"Just this." Marcus replied and helds out his arm for Oliver, his travelling companion.
