5th Battalion 60th Infantry Association reunion in St. Louis, MO June 15 - 18, 2006 at the St. Louis Airport Marriott Hotel.

The 5th Battalion reunion is listed on this web site because if one will read the History page one will find out that our 1st/16th was swapped with the 5th/60th in September 1968.  Because of this, many of our members served in both the 1st and the 9th Infantry Divisions.  Those who were in the 1st/16th were sent to the 5th/60th in Sept 68 and those in the 5th/60th were sent to the 1st/16th in Sept 68.   The 5th Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division is, therefore, our "sister" battalion.  One should attend this reunion and find out what life was like in the Delta for those who were sent there from the 1st/16th in '68, and find out what the 5th/60th accomplished in and around Saigon during TET68 before being sent to the 1st/16th.  You will not regret attending this reunion.
