Cap Company originally known as New Era Fits (TM) is the
largest licensed sports headwear tailoring company in U.S based in Buffalo
N.Y. The company was primarily cap provider for Major League Baseball for
last 70 years also for number of NBA and NHL franchise. One of the premier
well known Ball Cap is known as "59Fifty"
which was structured with cent percent polyester and worn by MLB players and
umpires during play ball. Mostly
New Era
caps are sold through large retail chain operation but company
also contracts with those retailers who want to carry their fashion lines.
Since 1920 company is continuously contributing in
headwear industry, first
company tailored "59-Fifty" which was the cause of New Era reorganization as
brand, and become more popular as fashion element in
Urban
clothing and hip hop culture. After that New Era introduces
"49-Fourty" which was the low profile cap and well known as cousin of
59-Fifty, "49-Fourty" is more contoured, fitted and has a more comfy fit for
casual and colligate look. The company moves forward and first time tailored
a cap with performance mesh fabric or a wool-stretch material which is known
as "39-Thirty" which was true fan cap with stretch comfort fit and last but
least the newest creation is "29-Twenty" it is adjustable fit and its
designs makes it the perfect to wear for every one.
In the view to developing business in May 2006, New Era opened a sole owned
and operated Flagship Store in New York City. Also a third flagship store
was opened in London in June 2007, which is said to offer the largest
selection of New Era headwear in the world.
