Wow... it's been 9 months since I'd updated in here.
I guess it's because there's been a lot of hullabaloo going on at work. In fact, I no longer work there. For 11 years, I was working at Kemper Financial Services, which then got bought then turned into Zurich Kemper, which was then merged and turned into Scudder Kemper, then rearranged to be Zurich Scudder, which was then bought by Deutsche Bank to become Scudder Investments, Deutsche Asset Management... which then I was offered a separation package and now I'm home. I've been out of work since August 31, 2002 so I haven't been really sharing much lately. It wasn't until a friend said, "hey... why don't you update your web page" that I finally came back here. :)
Since I've been gone so long, I thought the least I could do was add pictures, right? So I'm in the process of doing that. But that also means I have to remove some of the pages since I'm running out of space and I don't really feel like buying space. :) SO buh buy Basket ladies. :( I like the Mardi Gras music, so I figure I'll keep the theme going until it's Christmastime... which is just around the corner! ACK!
During my time off, I've done little projects around the house. The dining room is in progress with a new paint job and window treatments (made by me) . I still have to work on the ceiling and hopefully I'll get that done before the holidays. The frame holding our mattresses broke, so with Doyle's help, I put together a new bedframe. I've become quite the handy woman. We've put a lot of pictures up on the wall and the living room looks like a living room!
