The House in progress...

ARGGHHH!  What happened to the kitchen??!!!
Actually, this is the renovation in progress. Look at the AWFUL fake brick we were happy to tear down!

As you can see in the above right, Doyle had a lot of re-wireing to do! Also, the top windows were blocked by cabinets so we wanted to open it up. There was also an odd little vent that came out of the top, middle window, that I was told they used for cold storage in the cabinets for the winter.

Here are "BEFORE" & "AFTER" shots of Doyle working on the floor. It's a filthy job and Doyle's just the guy to do it!  If you're wondering what Doyle's doing on the left, he's scraping tar off the floor by heating it first. It was originally covered in an industrial linoleum. We eventually discovered that the floor was 2/3 pine and 1/3 oak, (???) so he ended up installing a completely new floor, all in red oak. It turned out beautifully.
