Here's where I set your silly ass straight. Favre is more of a pocket QB that is used to playing outdoors in cold weather. Vick is a freak that plays indoors on the fake stuff. Minnesota has an indoor stadium with the fake stuff. "Nuff said. Unless you want to talk about the playoff hopes of Atlanta and the fact that the season is already over for the Norsemen. It's a shame really. Could you imagine Vick vs. Moss in a game that meant something?
Upset Special of the Week (6-6): Detroit over New England
For all of you that scoffed at last week's selection of the Seabirds over the Chiefs, take a good look at this week's pick. Those Lions always seem to save something a little extra special for the National TV crowd on Turkey Day. And, they ain't as bad as their record would indicate. The Patsies, on the other hand, still can't run the damn thing and Brady has shown his immaturity during this season. A huge factor in this game will be the lack of wind in the dome. If it goes overtime I guarantee that the Lions will opt to receive if they win the coin toss.

Like every year, the Chargers have started their holiday celebrations prior to the end of the season and their record will reflect their inability to keep focused on their "jobs." They failed to show up for the Miami game last week and are blessed with the Denver Broncos this week. A denver team that was embarrassed at home in the final minutes by a lesser team. LaDanian will be shut down for the second straight week. And, the defense will be run all over for the second straight week. Don't be surprised to see a third straight, a fourth straight, a fifth...
Game to Stay Away From: St Louis @ Philadelphia
Philly is starting a third string QB by the name of AJ Feely. Kurt Warner is 0-6 as a starting QB in '02. Faulk will be sidelined for the third week in a row. The Birds are flying high after a big Monday Nighter over the 49ers and have come together as a team as a result of the loss of their QB woes. The odds are stacked pretty high against those Birds, but don't turn your back on them.

James Stewart, RB, Detroit
Has quietly had a very good year. He'll make plenty of noise on Turkey Day. His best asset has been his ability to make plays out of the backfield on passing downs. The Patriots don't have an answer for him defensively. 150+ combined yards and a pair of TDs in leading the Lions to victory on Thursday.
Marcel Shipp, RB, Arizona
He was going to be the starter eventually since Thomas Jones is an annual underachiever. When Jones broke his hand answering the phone - it was the DL calling - Marcel's Shipp had come in (sorry, I couldn't resist). This week he faces the Kansas City Swiss Chiefs Defense. He's a threat in the backfield and out of it...just what Jake needs.
Michael Vick, QB, Atlanta
Are those Vikings in trouble this week? They can't contain this guy. And, they certainly won't intercept any passes. If they do, it will be only the second he's thrown this year. Expect a big game from this exciting freak of nature. He's the future of the NFL.
Curtis Martin, RB, NY Jets
Monday Night in Oakland. Two teams battling for their playoff lives. The arrival of Chad Pennington makes Martin a viable fantasy back again. The use of Lamont Jordan keeps C-Mart fresh and wears down defenses. Oh, yeah...the Raiders don't stop the run too good. The Raiders offense will be slowed down by the fact that the Jets will control the clock. Expect big numbers in a low scoring, losing effort.
