Well, my name is Claire and I live in Essex. I'm now 18 years old, and I'm now in year 13 (at sixth form) which means A level exams soon!! NOOOOOOO!! I'm not the most sanest person in the world, and one of my more odder habits is making up weird stories about people on the spot that have no resemblance whatsoever to real life but usually have people in stitches anyway... although I don't know if that's because of the stories or the insanity yet! You'll probably end up hearing about some of them one of these days! I have also managed to get my foot run over, dent several lampposts, get beaten up several times, among other things, but haven't managed to break anything - though once they thought my nose was broken so I had to get it ex-rayed! That was fun, but I kept fidgeting so they nearly had to tie me down to make me sit still!!

To add to all that, I am cursed and have no luck with anything other than possibly my computer. The VCR is probably broken because of me, though we don't know yet. My Dad asked me to record something, and it didn't work. He just thought it was me who couldn't record anything (dumb blonde!) A few days later I tried to watch TV upstairs using the VCR's cable box, but it didn't work. Dad thought it was just me being... me. Finally, the other day I tried to watch a video (which worked fine at my friends house, by the way) and the sound had gone. Hmm. Why do I get the feeling that everything seems to be coming down to me in this?

I've also managed to trip up over a stick (don't ask how, it was a big stick!) and I've realised just how unstable I really am when walking. One of my mates, Chris W, put his foot out to trip me up in front of me, but then he moved his foot away and I still tripped up!! As Chris said, I couldn't have tripped up much better even if he had put his foot there!! Also, just before Christmas, one of my friends, Steve, decided to take me out for dinner for my birthday (it's on 20th December if anyone feels like getting me something... late gifts are always accepted!) and I dressed up really nice (I actually bothered to wear a skirt, put my hair up and actually looked decent). Steve was standing at the bottom of the stairs and just as he said "Wow you look really ni-" I fell all the way down the stairs and almost flattened him! Thankfully he's really strong and managed to catch me but still - that was probably the most embarrassing thing that's happened to me in a while.

Other things I like... I like listening to Garbage (the band, no puns please), Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Jack off Jill, Snake River Conspiracy and Elastica. I can't stand The Beach Boys, which my Dad is (unfortunately) obsessed with. Noooooooooooooo! I've also become a fan of No Doubt, Veruca Salt, Portishead, The Offspring, Linkin Park, Goldfinger, and SpineShank. I also like a couple of bands that have split up, like Angelfish (singer being Shirley Manson of Garbage fame), Eve's Plum (singer being Colleen Fitzpatrick, now known as Vitamin C) or no one has really heard of, like Better Than Ezra, Econoline Crush and Aztek Trip. Oh, and since they asked me to mention them somewhere in this, some of my friends include in no particular order, Beth (who is obsessed with Snakes, fire, Coke, and McDonald's, but, scarily enough, she's calmed down on all of this lately!), Dan (aka Larry just for the pure fact that I used to say he hadn't got any mates - but then it turned out that he knew everyone!), Gazza (who's completely mad and likes calling me a fish but is really talented and lives for music, especially MetallicA), Harry (who's my neighbour and who I've known since I was 3, don't you feel sorry for him? lol), Ice Dragon (Steve, who I con into driving me places when I'm too lazy to walk, though he bullies me all the time!), Jam (aka James, a miniature Bill Gates, who literally knowseverything there is to know about PC's and worships Linux), Jess (who's really funny and has been one of my best mates ever since primary school, though we lost contact for a few years after we left but we got back in contact), Joey (who everyone takes the piss out of but he's actually really nice and puts up with all of it without complaint. Respect to Joey!... Don't tell him I said that!), Lemmingfish (Jack B, who's teaching me guitar and is in my debt, muhahahahaha!), Mag (I've only met him once but talk to him over the net every night and he's a really good mate, he's always there for me when I need him and he's really sweet, caring and funny) Naomi (who I've known since primary school and is really funny and we're always there to give each other advice when we need it), RockthesmurF (Steve, he's really cool and really funny, and manages to put up with me and all of my theories!), Salmonfish (another Steven, who's always making a new website and loves Resident Evil and Silent Hill, and is also a great laugh), and Tony (who's possibly more weird than I am). You'll probably end up hearing loads about them as you get through more and more of my site, since they're a big part of my life.

I'm also good mates with someone who used to be in the year above me but now goes to our town's wonderful college, Simon, and, since he reckons I won't say this... SIMON IS FIT, ESPECIALLY IN SUNGLASSES!! Heh heh heh. (Don't worry Simon, I don't think anyone has managed to stay awake long enough to read this far down) And, since he doesn't believe me, But, just for the record, before anyone even thinks about asking me - no I don't fancy Simon and I'm not planning on doing so either! Simon's always putting himself down (which he shouldn't!!) and Smurf's can't get much smaller (dont ask heh), so there's my two pence against him.

Anyway, I'm sure I've bored you enough with things about me! This took me about fifteen minutes to type (so I type fast!) I'll probably remember that I've missed something sooner or later, so, if anyone cares, I'll be updating this sometimes.
