Few ministers can trace a direct path in their life to ministry. Most of us, myself included, answered our calls to ministry only after (and during) twists and turns on life's road that few of us could have forseen. The web pages linked below present my life history. They offer a sense of the detours, wrong turns, and serendipitous accidents I've encountered on "the road less travelled by" (borrowing from Robert Frost), and how they've led me to be the person, and the minister, I am today. This life history was based upon a spiritual autobiography I was assigned to develop for a course at my seminary. We were encouraged to experiment with the format of this autobiography. The other portion of the oiginal autobiography was a music CD, a compilation I prepared. The songs were chosen to evoke themes relevant to the related section of my bio. (Regretably, copyright concerns and storage limitations for this web server prevent me from posting these songs. Links to song lyrics have ben included in their place.) |
