On September 9, 2000, the RR&R met at Max's Allegheny Tavern. Steve Rine gave a well-received non-Challenge presentation on his recent adventures building a school in Peru.
Other notable features of this meeting were 1) tales from Dennis Looney about his circumnavigation of the globe on the surface -- that was actually Lee Wolfson's Rogue's Challenge -- in the Semester-at-Sea program, and 2) a tale from Woody Cunningham about how, in doing his Christian duty to assist a woman in need, found himself propositioned by a common prostitute. Which accounts for why he was late to the meeting.
