Present Perfect Continuous

1.ใช้เหมือนกับ present perfectคือการกระทำหรือเหตุการณ์ที่เริ่มขึ้นในอดีตและได้กระทำต่อเนื่องกันมา
จนถึงปัจจุบัน สังเกตจากคำว่าsince,for,during the last month,until now เป็นต้น
ต่างกับ prefect perfect ตรงที่ว่า present perfect continuousแสดงความต่อเนื่องของการกระทำติดต่อกันจริงๆ
ตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันและก็จะทำต่อไปในอนาคต คือเน้นการกระทำที่เกิดขึ้นเป็นเวลายาวนาน ส่วน present perfectไม่ได้แสดงความต่อเนื่องของการกระทำ และจะดำเนินต่อไปอีก หรือไมนั้นมิได้กล่าวถึง
่ต่างกับ present continuous ซึ่งแสดงเหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิด
หรือกำลังกระทำในขณะที่พูดเท่านั้น
่ แต่ present perfect continuous เริ่มต้นจากอดีต เช่น

               -She has been living in the United States for the last three years.
               -Mary is ill. She has been lying in bed since noon.
               -He has been taking vitamins since his recovery.
               -They have been waiting for you since noon.
               -She has been working as a rcceptionist at the Asia Pattaya Hotel for the last two years.
               -How long has she been working in that hotel?
               -He has been studying in the library every night for the last three months.
