Steve Forrest starred with Elvis in Flaming Star as Clint Burton.
One of a number of seemingly interchangable leading men who worked in 1950s' and 1960s' films, this fairhaired, virile actor-the younger brother of Dana Andrews-played bit parts in the early 1940s (including 1943's Crash Dive-which featured Andrews-and The Ghost Ship graduated to more prominent supporting roles later in the decade, and then to leads in the 1950s. Forrest was very active on TV in the 1970s and 1980s, notably as the star of "SWAT" (1975-76).
